In the last 50 years, input to the brain has increased by more than 10,000 times per second. Consider this: if you are 50 years old, your brain is receiving and processing 10,000 times more information than that of a 50 year old at the time of your birth. Whereas we are constantly evolving, we still lack sufficient filters to manage this amount of stimuli. Until evolution catches up, we will need to restore balance and harmony ourselves.
